San Juan, Jul 11 (EFE).- The Good Bunny Foundation, by the Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny, announced this Tuesday its educational project “Un Verano Contigo”, which aims to promote talent in children and adolescents in Puerto Rico in art , music and sport.
As explained in a statement by the director of the entity, José “Che Juan” Torres, the project has the guidance of experienced professionals to promote the development of each student through an itinerary that covers theoretical and practical skills.
Therefore, renowned personalities in each branch -which were not disclosed in the statement- will join the resources with which children and adolescents will have interactions with a view to learning more about their aspirations.
“Our purpose at the Good Bunny Foundation is to continue providing opportunities to foster talent in children and young people, to contribute to their training as leaders and cultivate in them a vision of success in what they set out to do,” said Torres.
“We know that this type of initiative not only nourishes their knowledge, but also boosts their creativity and human sensitivity, as well as creating a social and cultural impact,” he added.
Those interested in the arts will have experiences that will include painting workshops, ceramics, engravings, serigraphy, mask creation, sculpture, caricatures, introduction to dance, and performing arts, film appreciation, music appreciation, and sound art.
They will also have talks with artists and tours at the Bayamón Museum of Art and the Puerto Rico Museum of Art in San Juan.
The music group, which is divided into two (general and advanced), will have lessons on music theory on its calendar until the production and promotion of its first single.
An essential part of the program is the interdisciplinary collaboration between music and visual arts, so participants will have the opportunity to work together with the art team, designing covers and creating merchandise.
In the branch of sports, participants will work on their motor skills and develop themselves in different disciplines, while learning important concepts such as teamwork, goal setting, good team spirit, and leadership.
The educational project “Un Verano Contigo” aspires to become a resource each year to motivate the development of art, music and sports, in addition to the intention to promote commitment, leadership and effort in each discipline.
