Seville and Cádiz are the Andalusian cities that have been favored more times by the Extraordinary Christmas Draw of the National Lottery, since in them the ‘Gordo’ have relapsed 17 and 12 times respectively, throughout the history of the draw, according to data from State Lotteries and Gambling consulted by Europa Press.

In this frame, Malaga accumulates in its province 26 ‘Gordos’ in 14 towns highlighting Malaga with ten and Álora, Marbella and Ronda with two each; Seville has 23 in seven municipalities , 17 in the capital; Cádiz, 22 in nine locations, with 12 in the capital and three in Algeciras; Granada, 16 in eight locations, with nine in the capital and two in Almuñécar, and Córdoba, with 12 ‘Gordos’ in nine locations, with four in the capital.

In Jaén it has fallen ten times in nine locations, none in the capital and twice in Linares; Almería has been graced seven times in five locations, twice in Almería and another two in El Ejido, while Huelva has five ‘Gordos’ in five municipalities, one in the capital.

The ‘Gordo’ fell last year in Granada, Córdoba, Punta Umbría (Huelva) and El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz).

In the national framework, the ranking of the luckiest places continues to be led for another year by the city of Madrid, where the ‘Gordo’ has fallen a total of 81 occasions in the more than 200 years of history of the traditional raffle . Behind her is Barcelona with 42, Seville with 17, Bilbao (14), Valencia (13), Zaragoza (13) and Cádiz (12). Of all of them, only in Madrid and Bilbao did the ‘Gordo’ fall in last year’s draw.
