The heat wave is taking over Romania. Meteorologists predict 40 degrees in the shade, and the atmosphere will become suffocating.
The heatwave will cover the south and west of the country, and the thermal discomfort will intensify. It will also be warm in the rest of the country, but after lunch the rains will come to the mountains, in Transylvania and Moldova, areas where the wind will also intensify. Isolated, there may also be rain in the south.
In the following days, the weather will be extremely hot: 40 degrees will be recorded in the shade, and the atmosphere will become suffocating in the plain areas. Tomorrow, it will rain in the intra-Carpathian regions and in the mountains, and on Thursday the storms will also extend to the northeast. On the eve of the weekend, precipitation moves to the southern half of the territory and temperatures drop a few more degrees.
In the Capital, it will be hot: thermometers will indicate 34 degrees Celsius, but in the afternoon there will be conditions for showers, accompanied by electrical phenomena and intensification of the wind.
