Who will dare to say that the bakery will remain sadly closed? This time, Shani Gabet and her companion Daniela Costa, come to bring a pleasant denial. For Shani, it’s almost a homecoming, because he spent part of his early childhood in Rimont.
Moreover, his reputation as an excellent baker preceded him here, since many people from Rimont went to buy bread in Durban where he settled and built his wood oven with his own hands. Helped by Daniela, he was soon making much-loved bread.
To start, Daniela offers this bread made in Durban at Rimont on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. But other excellent news, from September, Shani will turn on the Rimont oven and kneader again to make small pieces (baguettes, etc.) and pastries.
The bakery will then be open every day of the week except of course the mandatory closing day.
