MS: “In our case, I do everything and Jirka advises. We both prefer to have money in the bank, but getting it, even if we have worked hard, is somewhat worse.”
JK: “I come up with crazy things and Miloš has to make it happen. We mainly try to get money, which sometimes works out and sometimes not. Well, it’s such a separate discipline and you never know how it’s going to turn out.”
Miloš, how long have you been Jirko’s manager?
MS: “I think since early childhood. We wrote a short story about our collaboration, and I think everything is said there.”

MS: “As ever, but we work as a tandem, so we say A, then we look for B, which is a lot of fun ending sometimes at the end of the alphabet.”
What do you absolutely disagree on? Have you ever had an argument that was irreversible?
JK: “Miloš is thrifty and I’m a spendthrift, and Miloš tries to fix that, but he doesn’t do it very well. Well, we still argue, but a sharper line is said and we’re laughing about it in a few minutes.”
MS: “Jirka is an unguided missile and everything comes out, so it’s hard to hide something, but basically there’s nothing. Today, everyone knows everything.”

MS: “Quite often. There are a lot of people hanging around Jirka, who promise him everything possible at the coffee shop. Then I step in… Ninety percent of the people in question don’t remember what they promised to add to the film, clip or CD.”
What are the biggest challenges as a freelance actor?
JK: “Doing what he wants and not doing what the others want.”
Over 40 years together
