Czech game stores Xzone a JRC as they have traditionally published their rankings of the best-selling games for the past month. In this case, it is a store the most successful titles for June. Few people will probably be surprised that Diablo IV was the most successful. However, Final Fantasy XVI and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, released in May, also recorded decent sales.
Xzone
In the Xzone, Final Fantasy XVI was placed right behind Diable IV, which was joined in third place by the older PlayStation exclusive God of War Ragnarök. In other places you will find titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Horizon: Forbidden West, GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition or Street Fighter 6.
“The long-awaited Diablo IV dominated the June ranking. The hellish RPG, which was released in style on 6/6, stayed on top throughout June and was not threatened by the addition of another popular series, Final Fantasy XVI. Last year’s PlayStation exclusive, the award-winning God of War: Ragnarök, which enticed with a promotional price under a thousand crowns. The discount event was also reflected in other positions in the TOP 10, when the titles Horizon: Forbidden West, GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition and Death Stranding were among the best-selling games. Fourth place was taken by the new May release The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,” supplied by Xzone representatives.
Following the pattern of previous months, Xzone also published a list of the best-selling consoles. While the Nintendo Switch was the best-seller in May thanks to the release of the new Zelda, the PlayStation 5 took over the reins in June. This time, the competing Xbox Series X took fourth place.
JRC
Also in the JRC, Diablo IV leads the ranking for June, followed by the still popular FIFA 23 and February’s hit Hogwarts Legacy in second place. Other positions were occupied by titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V, Final Fantasy XVI and F1 23.
“The series is a favorite for many players, and the new sequel was also a success. Diablo IV is likely to remain among the best-selling games for some time to come,” Petr Kratochvíl from JRC adds to the success of the fourth Diablo.
