On the evening of July 9, in the Moscow region, a group of unknown persons scalped a 19-year-old boy. According to Russian media, Yuri Markov approached a group of men to ask them for a cigarette. However, in response, he received insults and humiliation: strangers attacked the young man because of his hairstyle. Markov’s friend rushed to seek help, and at that moment the men threw the guy to the ground and cut off his hair with a knife, and then fled. Passers-by called an ambulance and provided first aid to the victim.

Yuri Markov’s mother told Caution News that the attackers were two drunken men of “Caucasian nationality.” This is not the first time that passers-by, natives of the Caucasus, criticized the guy for his appearance.
The young man is currently in the hospital. He is conscious, but doctors have warned that he still needs surgery to heal his head.
After the high-profile incident, the police came to the guy in the hospital, but the suspects have not yet been detained. The victim’s family does not know the details of the incident and does not have information about what the investigators managed to find out.
Recall that in Chechnya, unknown attacked on a journalist and a lawyer who came to Grozny for a trial in the case of Kadyrov’s enemies.
