Roma Femminile has made their first friendly official for this upcoming preseason. A friendly, nothing more and nothing less, than against a semifinalist from the last edition of the Women’s Champions League.
The team coached by Alessandro Spugna will face Chelsea on September 3, and will do so in the British fiefdom, in Kingsmeadow. The match will take place at 9:00 p.m. local time, which means that in Italy it will start at 10:00 p.m.
A friendly that, if nothing changes, seems to be the highest level of the entire season, taking into account that Chelsea has not only just won a European semifinal, but is the current champion of FA Cup, and two-time consecutive champion of the Women’s Super League.
