The Tour de France Femmes will start in 2024 on August 12, on the eve of the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
Due to the Olympic Games, it was organizationally impossible to organize the Tour for women in line with that for men.
However, the Tour will not start in France itself, but in the Netherlands. It is the first time that the renewed Tour de France Femmes has a Grand Départ abroad.
Our northern neighbors will see no less than 3 stages, 2 of which on the first day, including a time trial through Rotterdam.
On August 18 we get the denouement of the Tour de France Femmes. The rest of the route will be revealed on October 25, but TDFF director Marion Rousse has already hinted at a ride (or arrival?) in Belgium.
