Bulgaria is about to become only the second country in the world, after Albania, where Mercedes is the best-selling car brand, according to Automedia.bg’s traditional report on registrations at the Ministry of the Interior.
In the first half of 2023, Volkswagen remained the most frequently purchased second-hand car in our country, but with an increasingly small lead over the premium manufacturer from Stuttgart.
The two brands have been getting closer for several years, but now the pace is accelerating: Mercedes has a full 20.1% growth compared to last year, while for VW it is only 7.8%.
