This Friday, July 7, the “Domingo Gentili” Cooperative Popular Library made a donation of books to the School for Adults No. 15 in Santa Rosa. Its director, María Fernanda Aguerre Delous, received the books from the president of the CPE, Alfredo Carrascal, the director of the cooperative library, María José Castro and the Councilor Analía Ponce.
There are about 350 books of various genres, which are destined for the library of this school for adults that operates in Santa Rosa, under the modality “Context of Deprivation of Liberty” —also known as “Education in the Context of ECE Confinement”— a tool of the educational system aimed at guaranteeing the right to education of all people who go through a situation of deprivation of liberty, to promote their comprehensive training and full development.
The donation is part of a project of the “Domingo Gentili” library to promote reading in various fields; Soon, the CPE room will sponsor the library of school 15, in order to collaborate and accompany it in its work.
31st Anniversary
During this week, the “Domingo Gentili” Library celebrated its first 31 years and celebrated it with a “Book Drop” on the block of the CPE headquarters, where books and balloons were arranged to be collected by the passersby and a legend in which he invited those who picked them up to donate the book once read.
