Guns N’ Roses set the Circus Maximus on fire with over two hours of explosive concert, including old classics and a handful of songs from the last few years of one of the last great rock n’ roll bands at the turn of the two millennia. Frontman Axl Rose surprised the audience in Rome on two occasions by dedicating as many songs to Silvio Berlusconi. The first is Pretty tied up, a song contained in Use Your Illusion II, with the singer who dedicated the song to Berlusconi and the “bunga bunga party”. The second is a real tribute, with Rose who dedicated the legendary Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door to the recently deceased Knight, a Bob Dylan cover also contained in Use your illusions II and one of the flagships of the Californian band.
