The first demonstration, with the participation of about 250 people, took place in the evening of July 7, and one person was detained for inciting violence. A rally against the festival started in the city center this afternoon.
The police used tear gas and water cannons to suppress the riots, stones, smoke bombs and bottles were thrown at the security guards.
As a result, about 200 people were detained for a short time, at least 60 people were taken into custody. Up to 2.5 thousand people are expected to participate in the event on July 9.
