Important changes for seniors. From July 2023, the pension may increase by PLN 200-500 more! The amount of ZUS contributions, as well as the initial capital, is subject to regular indexation. In turn, the annual indexation is always carried out in June. This means that seniors can count on more money. This is how much pension increase seniors will get in July 2023!
In accordance with this year’s valorization rules, seniors have received increases to pension benefits. This year’s rate of pension increases is, in accordance with the Act, the average annual increase in the prices of necessities and consumer services, increased by about 20 percent over the previous year.
The guaranteed pension increase in 2023 amounted to PLN 250 gross, which gives PLN 227.50 per hand. According to the law, people who receive the lowest pension can count on such an increase. In 2022, the minimum pension amounted to PLN 1,338.44 gross. From March 2023, the amount of the benefit increased to PLN 1,588.44 gross.

As every year, in June ZUS indexed the balance of accounts and sub-accounts of insured persons. All this to compensate for inflation and other economic processes for 2022.
