Despite receiving the good news from debut of Carlos Rodón, now the New York Yankees have another setback. Néstor Cortés, another of his rotation pitchers, he was placed on the 60-day disabled list due to inflammation in the rotator cuff.
Cortés made his last start on the mound with the Yankees on May 30, when he suffered the injury and was placed on the disabled listbut now without a speedy recovery he was taken to the 60-day list from which he will be able to leave next August if he recovers.
The Yankees also called the outfielder again Franchy Cordero from Triple-A. While Jake Bauers was also placed on the 10-day disabled list.

• Transferred LHP Nestor Cortes to the 60-day injured list.

Cortés has made 11 starts this season, with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. While the ERA registers it at 5.16 in a total of 59.1 innings thrown this season.
Long list of injured
The Yankees had recovered several pieces in recent months from the disabled list, but now it seems that the number is increasing again and there are now 10 players on the team that make it up, in addition to Jimmy Cordero who was suspended for the rest of the season for domestic violence.
