Warning: Ryanair’s Windowless Seats – Check Before You Choose

It is travel journalist, Oliver Smith in The Telegraph, who warns against three seats on board Ryanair’s aircraft.

He does so in an article in own newspaper.

He points to three seats in particular, which, despite being at the far end of the fuselage, lack a window view.

These cost extra, but if you end up wrong, you can get a boring surprise, something DinSide has also written about before.

This spring, Mark Bowe and his wife were on their honeymoon, but the approach to Ibiza did not go as expected, as the window seats did not have windows.

Bowe posted about the experience on Twitter, and the company subsequently responded, causing quite a stir.

According to travel journalist Smith, seats 11A, 12A and 12F lack windows.

This is also confirmed if you access the seat map on the website seatguru and apply for Ryanair Boeing 737-800.

In the company’s defence, Smith points out that even though the windowless “window seats” also cost extra, you are warned against this on the company’s website.

They should also be mentioned in connection with the case that it is not only Ryanair that has window seats without a view.

seatguru has an overview of the seat configuration of many airlines, and it may be worth taking a trip there to check your company and aircraft type before choosing.
