The visit of Pap Ndiaye, the Minister of Education and Youth of France, is announced in Vaucluse. The minister will spend two days in the department where his arrival is scheduled for Sunday July 9.
Pap Ndiaye will first go to Carpentras to meet students from the SNU (National Universal Service) center and young people taking part in the “learning vacation” scheme, which he announced to be reinforced last April.
A detour via the Avignon festival
The Minister should also take advantage of his visit to Vaucluse to reach out to the Louis Gros primary school in Avignon but also to the Paul Gauthier college in Cavaillon on Monday July 10. It will be a question, among other things, of an exchange between the children and the educational teams who take part in a “successful internship”.
Finally, this trip will also be an opportunity for the Minister to go to the Festival d’Avignon. Pap Ndiaye should reaffirm his commitment to artistic and cultural education there, with the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of National Education and Youth and the festival.
