Now it’s certain: Siófok starts on the third line (Photo: Kiss Annamarie/Hajdú-Bihari Napló)
According to the club’s announcements, after the final decision of the Hungarian Handball Association (MKSZ), SKC’s staff did everything to ensure the presence of adult-level handball in the city on the Lake Balaton.
„Although I feel that the MKSZ made an unfair decision regarding our senior team, we can only look ahead. Our main goal is to continue to provide the children who play sports in the club with the opportunity for regular training and to be able to compete at the highest level. Károly Pintér, who has been a key figure in handball in Siófok for the past twenty years, assumes a key role in supporting the youth. In the coming weeks, we will clarify all unanswered questions so that the work can begin at the end of July” – quoted by the club website János Fodor managing director, who – contrary to his announcement a few days ago – no longer threatened a lawsuit.
