Manuel Ugarte has been officially introduced as a reinforcement for Paris Saint-Germain, where he comes from Sporting. The reigning Ligue 1 champions have activated a €60m exit clause…
The 22-year-old midfielder has had two successful seasons at Sporting, with whom he won the League Cup in 2021/22. Ugarte has made 85 competitive appearances for the Lisbon club, scoring just once, but his primary role is to stop the opposition’s attacks.
It was for this purpose that the CA Fénix pupil was looked out for by PSG, which did not hesitate to activate an exit clause of 60 million euros. Ugarte signed a contract with the Paris club until 2028.
