The 24-year-old knows what it means to represent United and, as fans could tell from his interview with Helen Evans, he is eager to start wearing the red shirt.
Using his official Instagram account on Thursday night, the midfielder made a promise to United fans that he will give absolutely everything for the shirt.
“I know the story and I understand the responsibility that comes with this jersey,” Mason wrote on social media.
“The most important thing for me is to earn your trust and I will work hard to achieve that.”
