A climate fund containing a 34 billion euro subsidy for green investments has been approved by the House of Representatives. The cabinet managed to get support from GroenLinks and PvdA, among others, so that the plan was adopted with a large majority.
The support of the two parties is important because they can help the plan to a majority in the Senate. The coalition parties do not have enough seats and therefore need support from opposition parties.
