Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klichko dismissed Anatoly Suldin, director of the Kyivstroyrekonstruktsiya communal enterprise, and appointed an internal investigation. About it reported press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
This is the third utility company that has been left without a director today. Earlier it became known that the director of Kyivmiskbud was removed from his duties after the scandal with Everest, while the director of the KP “Spetszhilfond” was suspected of official negligence.
What is the reason for the removal of Suldin, the mayor’s office does not indicate. It is only noted that the official investigation is connected with the “materials received.”
“For the period of the investigation, the director of the Kyivstroyrekonstruktsiya KP will not fulfill his official duties,” the Kyiv City State Administration said.
Two weeks ago Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reportedthat Kyivstroyrekonstruktsiya appears in criminal proceedings on the theft of budget money for the repair and reconstruction of elevators.
According to the investigation, company officials entered into contracts with contractors for the overhaul and reconstruction of elevators in residential buildings in Kyiv at a price significantly higher than the market price.
In some cases, the approval of acts of work performed and the transfer of funds under contracts was carried out without actual repair work, the prosecutor’s office claims.
KP “Kievstroyrekonstruktsiya” was established in 2011, its owner is the community of Kyiv represented by the Kyiv City Council. Suldin was appointed director of the enterprise only in March 2023, a person with the same name and surname is the head of the Kyiv city election commission.
