At today’s presentation of the new Honor smartphones, the Chinese manufacturer showed not only its pride in the form of the Honor 90, which you can already read a review of, but also a lightweight model for less demanding users, the Honor 90 Lite. It also boasts an excellent display, a 100MP camera and the possibility to virtually expand the RAM memory, but it will be available in the Czech market at a more favorable price, in addition with a free fitness bracelet. What can the Honor 90 Lite offer?
The 100-megapixel camera is the main attraction
In terms of design, on the back, the Honor 90 Lite took its more equipped sibling as an example, but unlike it, it opted for flat edges. The front is dominated by a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,388 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light levels is also pleasing. Inside, we find an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset accompanied by Mali-G57 graphics, 8 GB of RAM (with the possibility of virtual expansion by another 5 GB) and 256 GB of internal memory without the possibility of expansion by microSD card.
Other equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, all relevant geolocation systems, USB-C 2.0, NFC or a fingerprint reader in the shutdown button. The operating system is Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 superstructure. The battery received a capacity of 4,500 mAh with support for fast 35W charging, which, according to the manufacturer, charges 55 percent of the capacity in approximately 30 minutes. As for the dimensions, they stopped at 162.9 x 74.5 x 7.5 millimeters and a weight of 179 grams.
On the back we find a trio of cameras, namely the main 100 Mpx with an aperture of f/1.9 and PDAF, a 5 Mpx wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and there is also a macro sensor with a resolution of 2 Mpx. The set of cameras is completed by the selfie camera on the front, which received 16 Mpx and an aperture of f/2.5.
