When researchers in a 2018 meta-analysis tested the effect of artichoke leaf extract on a sample of people, they noticed that their levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides decreased significantly, especially when taken in combination with drug therapy.

A 2018 study showed that basil was able to reduce blood triglycerides in a number of 40-year-old patients with metabolic disorders when consuming 1 gram of it per day.
Worryingly, the researchers discovered that the effect of basil on triglycerides was short-term, so they recommended regular intake, to get the most out of it.

Turmeric reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, due to its high content of curcumin, which helps lower triglycerides in the blood, according to a 2017 study.
6- Rosemary
According to a 2014 study, rosemary “rosemary” contributes to the reduction of triglycerides and harmful cholesterol in the blood, and thus the prevention of heart disease, when eating 2, 5 or 10 grams of it per day.
