Update on the Pont Paul Bocuse Watertightness Problems: Closure, Cost, and Restoration Details

The Pont Paul Bocuse has watertightness problems. The cost of the work is estimated at 500,000 euros.

The Paul Bocuse bridge, which connects Caluire-et-Cuire to Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or will be closed all summer.

From July 10 and until September 1, the Paul Bocuse bridge, which crosses the Saône at Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or and Caluire-et-Cuire will be closed to traffic to allow work to be carried out .

These will consist of restoring the complete waterproofing of the bridge slab after the removal of the asphalt, curbs and the existing, degraded waterproofing. Diversions will be put in place by the Schuman bridge and the General Leclerc bridge.

Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained.
