Festival Asalto: Exploring the Colorful World of Street Art in Aragon

Walk among works of art without paying admission and with the wind shaking your hair. This is what the inhabitants of various towns in Aragon have been able to see for 18 years thanks to the Festival Asalto. This organization brings every year to graffiti artists from around the world to fill walls with color, stories and characters.

The streets of Zaragoza, Alfamén or Épila house works of street art. A type of art that depends on how you approach it goes from being vandalism to becoming a value for public spaces that regenerate their murals.

Route through the walls of the Assault Festival in Santa Isabel

In order not to get lost among so many works, from Sinestesia we encourage you to follow the route that we have prepared for the latest edition of the Assault Festival. In 2022 they “assaulted” the neighborhood of Santa Isabel de Zaragoza with 7 murals created in collaboration between the artists and the neighbors.

From a school basketball court, we walk the streets of the heart of this neighborhood to meet its neighbors, the meeting places or the history of the women who inhabited its streets in the past.
