The Original Wailers Concert in Santiago de Compostela: Featuring Bob Marley’s Guitarist Al Anderson

Concert of The Original Wailers in the Capitol Hall of Santiago de Compostelaon July 2 at 8:30 p.m.

Bob Marley’s guitarist, Al Anderson, will give a concert in Santiago with his band The Original Wailers

On Wednesday, July 2, the band The Original Wailers arrives in Santiago headed by Al Anderson, the guitarist who accompanied the reggae legend Bob Marley on several hits.

Anderson accompanied Marley for more than seven years in two periods (1972-1976 + 1979-1981) and was part of the recording of hits by the Jamaican icon such as No woman no cry, among other hits.

Born in 1950 in New Jersey (USA), Al Anderson began in music with the trombone. He trained at the Berklee College of Music and grew up playing bass and guitar. He came to the group Bob Marley and The Wailers, when this band was signed by Island Records, the label that launched them to stardom, even if it was at the cost of adding a dose of pop to their initial repertoire of genuine regga sound.
