AS Roma bought Chris Smalling from Manchester United in the summer of 2020 for 15 million Euros. Previously, Roma had borrowed him for one season.
Continuing, Roma got Nemanja Matic in 2022 yesterday. Matic is obtained by free transfer.

Reported from Daily Mail, summer is back this time AS Roma monitoring Manchester United players. There are three players being monitored namely Scott McTominay, Fred and Mason Greenwood.
For Mason Greenwood, Roma are interested in borrowing him according to MU’s wishes. It is considered that the Red Devils do not want to sell Greenwood, but only want to lend it so that the attacker can regain his form after not playing for a season.

Manchester United sell Scott McTominay and Fred. This is because MU has already had Mason Mount and it is suspected that Sofyan Amrabat will follow.
