This year’s National Collection Books Trading Conference is the first time held by China Printing Association. Under the guidance of Jiangsu Provincial Press and Publication Bureau and the Propaganda Department of Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, it is co-hosted by China Publishers Association and Jiangsu Phoenix Media Group, and undertaken by Jiangsu Xinhua Bookstore Group. There are 530 participating publishing suppliers across the country, providing nearly 160,000 books published by various publishing houses across the country since 2022, covering topics, social sciences, literature, science and technology, art, life, education, children, etc. Excellent books suitable for library collection, including many new and good books such as Chinese books, Soviet version books, and Phoenix books.
The Trade Conference set up a special “Exhibition Area for Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping’s Socialist Ideology with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era”, which will focus on displaying the party’s innovative theoretical readings published in recent years, and provide rich resources for the collection of theme books. Nearly 2,000 public libraries, university libraries, and primary and secondary school libraries across the country came to the site for one-stop collection.
