“Later (announcement). Later there will be a problem, that’s the process from the evidence manager here,” he said.

Ali explained, in terms of legal substance, the boarding house had been confiscated. However, technically the confiscation, such as signboards and others, has not yet been installed.

“In terms of legal substance, law enforcers, in this case investigators, have confiscated it. But technically, there will be signs and so on. That will be with the evidence manager,” he said.

For information, the Kapuspenkum Attorney General’s Office, Ketut Sumedana, is one of the renters of the boarding houses. Ketut said that he had rented a room with an area of 3 square meters for the last 3 years with a rental fee of 4 million per month.

“I’ve been boarding there 3 years ago, I’ve been boarding there twice,” said Ketut during a conversation, Tuesday (4/7).

Initially, according to Ketut, the boarding house cost Rp. 2.5 million per month, then increased to Rp. 3.6 million and now Rp. 4 million. Ketut said that there were prosecutors and police who also lived there without knowing that the owner of the boarding house was Rafael Alun, who is currently in trouble at the KPK.

“I am a 2-star boarding house. There are 5 police boarding houses there, 5 prosecutors, how come they are all still. I have finished this at the end of this month,” said Ketut.

“How do people know people haven’t had any problems yet. We’ve never known the owners, people have guards,” he added.

The location of the boarding house is indeed quite close to Ketut’s office at the AGO. Apart from being close, Ketut admitted that he chose that location because it was quite easy to find culinary delights and it was close to other prosecutors who also live in boarding houses.

“There are cheap places to eat. You can walk everywhere,” said Ketut.
