In an interview with Interlocutor, the actor cited another eminent film director, whom he had a chance to meet in person, as an example: “I remember once I was invited to participate in the film of Karen Shakhnazarov. I came, talked with him, looked from the outside at how his team treats him, all this ceremonial, and realized that this is not mine, not alive. I didn’t even go to auditions.”
