On Tuesday, the south, south-west wind in Latvia will increase in gusts to 12-17 meters per second, in places in the western and central parts of the country – up to 18-21 meters per second, forecasters warn.
Rainfall is expected in many places, a thunderstorm is also possible, while there will be no significant precipitation in Latgale until the evening.
When the sun shines, the air will warm up to +18..+22 degrees, in Latgale – up to +24 degrees.
Rain is expected in Riga at times, the sun will shine for a while and the south, south-west wind will increase in gusts up to 17 meters per second. The maximum air temperature will be +21 degrees.
A large cyclone remains in Scandinavia and Finland. Atmospheric pressure at sea level from 1003 hectopascals in the north of Kurzeme to 1011 hectopascals in the south of Latgale.
