According to event organizer Gary Grady, the goal was to bring together 400 people with the goal of breaking the world record. However, their expectations were largely exceeded: 1163 inflatable dinosaurs took part in the rally.
We were researching the internet in November when we saw a video of dinosaurs dancing in the streets. We thought we had to try to beat this record, says Gary Grady.
The latter, also owner of the Big Mur’s tavern in Dundurn, promised a free burger to all participants.
About 1163 people dressed in inflatable dinosaur costumes took part in this event in Dundurn, Saskatchewan.

We asked each participant to give us their email address and we gave them a piece of paper with a number on it. We recorded everything, which allowed us to submit the evidence for the Guinness Book of Recordsexplique M. Grady.

Now all that remains is to wait for the record to be authenticated and validated.
They will give us a record certificate that we will copy and send to all registered people, says the organizer. A Regina film company has recorded segments of events that they will broadcast to the public after editing.
Everyone had fun, so we are very happy , concludes Gary Grady.
