Fatal Quarrel Over Dispute Leads to Brothers’ Death in Fayoum Governorate

Today, Monday, two brothers were killed in a quarrel in one of the villages of Sinnuras Center in Fayoum Governorate, over a dispute over the amount of two thousand pounds, the value of goods.

The Director of Security, Major General Tharwat Al-Mahlawi, received a notification of the incident from the Police Rescue, as it was found that Tariq and Karim, the two brothers who work in supplying soft drinks to the owners of cafes and cafes within the Al-Kaabi area, entered into a quarrel with the owner of a cafe dealing with them, which resulted in their death.

Investigations stated that the two brothers work on a deferred payment system, and that the accused of killing one of their customers runs a cafe next to a nursery owned by Nagaa Ahmed Shaaban, as he used to get his needs of soft drinks from them, and he delayed paying the value of what he got (a little more than 2000 pounds). This prompted the two brothers to deal violently with their client, which developed into a quarrel in which the owner of the café slapped one of the two brothers.

Investigations added that the two brothers intended to harm the owner of the café, and they, along with a friend, took advantage of the Eid al-Adha holiday and went to their client after midnight last Saturday, carrying sticks and tattoos. The first (Karim – 25 years old) and the second (Tariq – 33 years old), in addition to the injury of their friend, who underwent treatment at Fayoum General Hospital.

The accused was arrested and referred to Ahmed Essam, Senoures Prosecutor, who authorized the burial of the two dead bodies. The accused was imprisoned for 4 days pending investigations.
