Released in 2001, the original Xbox marked Microsoft’s first venture as a console maker. It had many unique features for its time, such as built-in ethernet ports, hard drive, online services with voice chat, and a very long controller cord (with split cables), because it was made for western homes.
It was also physically very large at the time, and there have actually only been two larger consoles since then; the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 5. Even though the Xbox never really caught on, it’s still a cult classic thanks to its mod-friendly nature. It is in this category that we find this Glass Xbox.
