We’re starting to make it a tradition: a power bank round-up just before the holidays. After all, the summer holidays are just around the corner and who wants to be out and about with an empty phone, just when the ultimate photo opportunity presents itself to post on your socials. The festival season is also in full swing and you will of course also want to have power in your mobile phone there. Enough reasons to look again at which power bank you can best take with you on your trips.
We looked at various selection criteria. Firstly, you have to be able to actually buy a power bank, so we looked at power banks that are available at at least five stores in the Pricewatch. This means that some alternative stores from, for example, China (think AliExpress and co.) are out of the question, but without lumping everything from those stores together, we can imagine that you prefer to put a power bank in your bag with the least risk of unplanned rapid disassembly .
We have also looked for power banks with which you also have a budget for your holiday or concert. There are very expensive power banks for sale, which will also be sold given their presence in the Pricewatch, but we have decided to keep the price of the tested power banks below 100 euros. As far as applicable, we have of course included the power banks that we have previously tested and that are still available in this round-up. On the next page we briefly look at the new power banks in this test; the descriptions of previously tested specimens can be found in previous round-ups of 2021 and 2022.
