The ninth season of the tele-hook “The Vaice Kids” will begin on July 4 on TF1. The show is still a success, with this mechanism of blind auditions in front of the coaches on their armchair, which is emblematic of the show. Besides that, season 12 of “The Voice”, the adult version, also ended a few months ago with a victory for Aurélien. A family entertainment in front of which families have liked to meet, for many years now.
Given the success of both shows, can we imagine a senior version for “The Voice”, in which the candidates would be older? The concept has in any case already launched in other countries, notably in the Netherlands, where “The Voice Senior” will begin its fifth season. All with one simple rule: all participants must be 60 years or older. With very good audience figures, since the show is therefore renewed for its fifth season. Enough to see the concept exported to France?
In any case, Nikos Aliagas, inexhaustible presenter of TV hooks on TF1, seems motivated by the project: “I would like us to talk about “The Voice Senior” and I am serious. I tell the channel and the production, I would like one day to do a season with seniors, to get out of the tea dancing”, he says to Télé-Loisirs, in the presence of the producer of the show Mathier Grelier. It is true that seniors lack a little visibility on the screen, and particularly in entertainment. Let’s hope Nikos’ call is heard!
