The management of the Cairo International Film Festival announced that the 45th session, which will be held between November 15 and 24, will award the Golden Pyramid of Lifetime Achievement to director Yousry Nasrallah, in recognition of his cinematic contributions throughout his career.
Nasrallah expressed his happiness with this honor, referring to “many people who contributed to their path, and some of them deserve the same appreciation because they made me the person I am now.”
Al-Mokarram’s most important works are films: Summer Thefts, Mercedes, Boys and Girls, The City, a duet: Gate of the Sun, Garden of Fish, Tell Scheherazade, After the Battle, Then: Water, Greenery, and the Beautiful Face.
