The shopping tour of KSV Hessen Kassel in the Regionalliga Südwest continues: Now the North Hesse have strengthened with Cornelius Bräunling. The 18-year-old comes from Dynamo Dresden and should liven up the left flank. Bräunling signed until June 30, 2025.
“Cornelius is a highly educated boy from the outstanding 2004 year of Dynamo Dresden’s youth academy. A lively left-footer, he has a good pace, is tricky and technically strong,” says KSV Managing Director Sören Gonther.
Parallel to playing football, Cornelius Bräunling will continue his commercial training in Kassel. “We are convinced of his qualities and offer him the chance to develop with us in men’s football and to embark on a successful path with us,” Gonther continues.
For the 18-year-old Bräunling, Kassel will be the first station in the seniors’ area: “I like the warm atmosphere with which I was welcomed here from the first trial training session. Kassel has top conditions, which gave me the feeling as a young player that I can develop really well here. I’m looking forward to my first season at KSV.”
Kassel is Cornelius Bräunling’s (born December 15, 2004) first stop in men’s football. In the past season, Bräunling made 14 appearances (1 goal) in the U19 Bundesliga team.
