Tecno Camon 20: Specs, Features, and Release Date in Indonesia

Tecno is preparing new ammunition to attack the Indonesian mobile phone market. This brand which is so popular in the African region will release the Tecno Camon 20.

This cellphone has made its debut in the global market on May 10, 2023. It is planned that the Tecno Camon 20 series launch event in Indonesia will be held on July 6.

The main attraction of this phone can already be seen from how it looks. But no less tempting are the specifications offered by each Tecno Camon 20 variant.

All Tecno Camon 20 models offer a puzzle-like design on the back. While the frame is made flat following the trend that has recently been adopted by many other vendors.

“The Camon 20 series combines leather material with ceramic material in the camera console area, creating a unique design that we call the Camon Puzzle that stands out even more,” said Anthoni Roderick, Public Relations Manager of Tecno Indonesia.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G will prioritize its camera capabilities. There will be sensor-shift OIS and RGBW Pro Ultra Sensitive 50 embedded inside.

The man who is often called Erick explained, Sensor-Shift OIS technology is usually found in SLR camera devices. With this technology it is able to compensate for vibrations or shakes up to 5000 times per second.

While OIS technology generally ‘floats’ and performs image adjustments, Sensor-Shift OIS is not a stationary lens unit. But it’s the sensors that move and are even faster, with up to 5,000 adjustments per second. The results are claimed to be better than just OIS technology.

“This feature allows the Camon 20 series to produce sharp and vivid images, even when taking photos in fast-moving conditions. Plus, RGBW technology, which has been refined from the previous generation, is able to present more stunning portraits with higher levels of light absorption,” said Erick.

Specifically, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G has a 108 MP ultra-wide camera. All variants are provided with a 32 MP selfie camera.

Regarding the kitchen spur, the Camon 20 will be supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The screen will use an AMOLED panel measuring 6.67 inches.

Even though the launch is still July 6, the Tecno Camon 20 series can already be ordered via pre-order at the Erafone and Shopee stores. Orders will be given a bonus worth IDR 1 million.
