Lithuanian NBA star Domants Sabonis has signed a contract worth 217 million, who will continue to represent the Sacramento Kings. ESPN columnist Wojnarovskis reports that the parties will change the contract for the next season, the Lithuanian will receive 22 million instead of 19.4 million. The remaining 195 million of the new contract will be spread over four seasons.
Last season, 27-year-old Sabonis helped the Sacramento Kings return to the playoffs. In 79 matches, the Lithuanian averaged 19.1 points and 12.3 rebounds.
Oleksiy Len, the center of the Ukrainian national team, will also remain at the long end of the Sacramento club. He signed a one-year, $3.2 million contract.
Experienced Russell Westbrook will continue to represent the Clippers. His representatives agreed with the management of the Los Angeles club on a two-year contract worth 7.8 million US dollars.
Westbrook moved to the Clippers in a trade last season. The defender excelled in 21 matches with 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists.
