The Ministry of Health and Population announced the conditions and rules for enrollment in technical secondary schools for nursing, for the academic year 2023-2024, while adhering to the coordination rules, that admission takes place for the highest total, provided that the minimum is determined after the completion of coordination work.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the ministry, explained the health And the population, that the conditions and rules for admission to study in technical secondary schools for nursing included obtaining a certificate of completion of the basic education stage or its equivalent in the same year with the study of English as a first or second language, and that the applicant be an Egyptian citizen from the same governorate from which he obtained the certificate, where it is completed Coordination and admission procedures for each administrative center separately, in order to ensure the settlement of each student in his governorate. Students from outside the governorate are not accepted, without prejudice to the prescribed class density, which does not exceed (25 to 30) students per semester.
And «Abdul Ghaffar» added that the conditions for enrollment include the student’s devotion to study, according to an acknowledgment from him that is certified by his guardian, and it is also required to pass a number of tests that include the level of Arabic and English, and dealing with the computer, pointing out that the acceptance scores are not less than 70%. For each subject, in addition to passing the Commission’s examination (psychological test, strength of observation, tact in speech, response and reaction speed, communication skills, general information, general appearance, sound pronunciation, consistency between weight and height).
Dr. Ola Khairallah, Head of the Training and Research Sector at the Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that the medical examination for students wishing to join theTechnical secondary nursing schools It is through the medical commission in each governorate, and it includes an eye exam, an internal exam, and a drug test, where the medical exam is signed for accepted students only, provided that the student is not considered accepted until after the completion of the coordination procedures and the announcement of the result, after which the student submits the original papers, within a deadline set by the Directorate affiliated health.
Khairallah noted that it is scheduled to open the door for admission to technical secondary schools for nursing on the fourth of July, in the training departments in the directorates of health affairs in all governorates of the Republic.
