Subsequently, he debuted on the air as a TV talent and appeared in a number of popular dramas such as ’25 Hours of Ambition’, ‘The 1st Republic’, ‘Silver Grass’, ‘Love and Ambition’, and ‘3 Kim Era’.

In particular, he left a deep impression on viewers by playing the role of Lee Ki-bung, the second-in-command of Syngman Rhee’s regime in ‘The First Republic’, and in ‘Silver Grass’, he also gave birth to the buzzword “onal day”.

In addition, the deceased also appeared in the long-lived drama ‘Everyone’s Diary’. In this drama, he played the role of a myeonjang, a friend of Chairman Kim (Choi Bul-am).

During the 1987 13th presidential election, the deceased gave a speech in support of the then opposition candidate Kim Young-sam. It is known that he also suffered from being removed from the broadcast for supporting an opposition candidate. In 1997, at the end of the Kim Young-sam administration, he was appointed president of the Korea Film Promotion Corporation and held the position for about a year.

The funeral home for the deceased was prepared at the Funeral and Cultural Center of Danwon Hospital in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. His funeral is on the morning of the 3rd.
