Shaker added that the ministry was able to achieve many achievements in a short period, including achieving the percentage planned to be reached by 2022 of renewable energy participation ahead of schedule. Currently, the percentage of renewable energy participation from the maximum load of electricity is 20%, which is the percentage that was planned to be reached. her in 2022.
Shaker said that the ministry aims to rely on solar and wind energy in water analysis to generate green hydrogen gas, stressing that it is one of the least expensive and environmentally friendly sources of electricity production, in addition to benefiting from Egypt’s enormous potential in establishing renewable energy stations to expand electrical interconnection projects between Egypt.
