Showcuu and Brócoli Teatro will present the staging “Brisca de naipes, sometimes you are born on the wrong card” this July 4, at 6:00 p.m., at the Fernando Saavedra Chamber Theater, the ticket has a cost of $100.00 and can be obtained at the telephone number 614 345 8798, being a production by José Divo, with original music by Sergio Torres.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a story located in the fantasy world of the English deck where the prince and future King Jacob goes through a series of adventures to reveal to the world who he really wants to be, it is a story of self-love and friendship full of empathy, a hug to the heart of those people who are not defined by their body.
The drama is by Andrea Montes, likewise, there will be performances by: Cristina Córdova, Andrea Montes, José Sandoval (Pepo Sanco), Aarón Cázares and Loretto Guerrero, being a show suitable for the whole family, where topics such as peace, tolerance, empathy, respect, among others; for which the theater company makes an extensive appeal: “We invite you to delve into this tender and sensitive story of the kingdom of cards, where the physical does not determine the value of the deck.”
This work has already been on stage on other occasions with success, where it always kept the attention of the public, as well as the boys, girls, who were fascinated with the fable of poker cards, where gender identity is discussed. from a perspective of recognition and family love, leaving a learning and a positive message for the audience.
It is worth mentioning that this project has obtained recognition from the municipal government of Cuauhtémoc, through the Municipal Institute of Culture, when they were presented within the framework of the XXIX Festival of the Three Cultures last year.
