It won’t be long before the Chinese Xiaomi will officially introduce a new series of Pad 6 tablets for markets in the rest of the world (it already did so at home in April). It will follow on from the very popular predecessors, which were only dusted off in the first stages of sales. Again, we can hopefully look forward to “a lot of music for little money”. What this ratio will eventually look like in our region is indicated by a current leak/tip, which mentions individual variants of the tablet and their prices in Europe.
The source of the Pricebaba server states that the Xiaomi Pad 6 (that is, the basic version) will appear in Europe in two configurations. The first will be the memory combination 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and second 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants are said to be sold at prices €399 (roughly CZK 9,500) and €499 (about CZK 11,800). The tablet should come in two colors: gray and blue. It is not yet clear if the Pro version will arrive right away.
Both models have 11-inch IPS LCD panels with resolution 1800 x 2880 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The only difference is the refresh rate, which is 120 Hz for the basic model, up to 144 Hz for the Pro. The chipset ticks inside the Xiaomi Pad 6 Snapdragon 870, the improved version even got Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. For the basic model, we can count on an 8,840 mAh battery and 33W charging, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a slightly smaller 8,600mAh battery, but faster 66W charging.
