According to McGarey one of the most important things to live life to the fullest is to find a purpose in life. As he wrote in his book that he wanted to become a doctor when he was eight years old.

McGarey’s parents were media missionaries, he raised McGarey in India. When McGarey saw a young man carrying a wounded elephant, he wanted to become a doctor. At that time he managed to remove the bamboo splinter from the animal’s leg, although he was not of medical descent. After helping remove bamboo splinters from animals, McGarey realized he was destined to become a doctor.

3. Find something that suits you

McGarey has a daily routine that he follows. Every day, he starts his morning by praying before going down and starting his activities. He also has the habit of not smoking and not drinking alcohol.

McGarey lets go of unnecessary stress in his life by throwing away things or experiences that don’t serve him.
