Jakarta

A commercial passenger plane makes an emergency landing at Dublin airport, Ireland. That was after senior flight attendant Carol Wright collapsed on the plane, who later died.

The incident occurred on an American Airlines flight that flew from Venice Marco Polo Airport on Wednesday (21/6/2023) at 12.15 to Philadelphia. He collapsed and got first aid from a fellow flight crew.

To get further medical assistance, the Boeing 787-8 aircraft made an emergency landing in Dublin. Carol is rushed to the hospital. However, he was eventually declared dead at the hospital.

Carol’s body was returned to her family in Philadelphia on Friday (30/6).

Carol is fondly remembered as a dedicated employee who loved her job and was a joy to work with.

“With deep sadness, we deliver the sad news of the sudden passing of Flight Attendant and Flight Attendant PHL Carol Wright while on a flight this morning,” the airline tweeted.

“Carol started her career at American Airlines 38 years ago. She loved her profession and the many friendships she created. She is remembered as a person who was a joy to support and a pleasure to work with.

“Any unexpected loss is extremely difficult, but please know that our hearts go out to those of you who flew with Carol.

“We are also in contact with Carol’s family and will attend to their needs and any assistance they may need as we help bring her home.”
