Deadly Heat Wave and Forest Fires: Death Toll Rises as US and Canada Grapple with Extreme Weather

At least 13 people have died from the heat wave that has hit the United States for two weeks, in addition affected by a deterioration in air quality linked to forest fires in neighboring Canada, local authorities said on Friday.
