We know more and more about the universe, yet it remains mysterious. For example, astronomers suspect that more than a quarter of the universe consists of ‘dark matter’. That material is invisible and scientists don’t know what it consists of. To discover more about this, the European space agency ESA will launch the Euclid space telescope tomorrow afternoon. It will map the universe at 1.5 million kilometers from Earth. Koen Kuijken, professor of galactic astronomy at Leiden University, talks about it News and Co.
